On site at DTE-Systems, we offer the most advanced chassis Dynamometer system available in Ireland or the UK, capable of accurately measuring cars to within 0.1 horsepower. The DynaPack chassis Dyno is unrivalled in this area and has heralded a new era in engine tuning.
Our 4wd rolling road directly couples to the wheel hubs and applies a precisely controlled hydraulic load, this method of direct coupling and applied load means the Dynapack is always in control of the vehicle.
With the power of the Dynapack literally at your fingertips, you have complete control over the test and the demands placed on the vehicle, Flexible data presentation and analysis is available within seconds.
The system we have in place is perfect for analysing faults only apparent when driving under load and tweaking the engine for maximum power output. Twin London air fans each blow air towards the front of the car to provide engine cooling.
The equipment is able to measure in real time the engine torque, air intake temperatures, turbo boost pressures and most importantly the air/fuel ratio: BHP is calculated and corrected to UK DIN standards.
It is the primary tool we use to diagnose and Tune Road, Race and Rally cars.
DTE-Systems is also involved in ongoing development in the area of engine management software control, we are currently developing the next generation of software for the latest engine management systems.
